Update brewing!

While sitting at my doctors office today I was reviewing the sheet that goes over why you're actually seeing the doctor and realized that HIV is listed as a common diagnosis. I've attached the photo of the sheet. It makes me sad that its listed under common :(

Yeah.. well... I'm checking myself into the "not so common" category.

Love your blog.

I believe this is good news. Doctors should keep track of who is coming in with what. I would feel comfortable claiming that the real issue would be hospitals ignoring HIV altogether even if the total number of people living with the disease was decreasing.
The fact that HIV is mentioned as a "common" diagnosis along with hyperthyroidism, which effects 1 percent of the US population, is not troubling at all. especially since less than 1 percent of Americans have HIV.

I know no one here will ever know me but I was just told I am HIV+. What worries me most is how long do I have because I have the symptoms. I am so scared and hope God hears my prayers. I was wondering if I had the virus long ago since my doctors may have missed it. I go in for blood work on Monday but they say I have to wait for the doctor to go over the results in about 3 weeks. Is that right? Will I die before then? How will I tell my family? I feel so alone and scared. My email address is nenoreyna@hotmail.com if you have advice. Thanks for your time in reading this.

This is very depressing :/ Hopefully the scientists are able to come up with a cure for this horrible HIV/AIDS virus soon!
